Daytons were"Gilsons"(old)and newer ones MTDs.Unknown current builder bur suspect still MTD.Number you posted appears to fit MTD corporate numbering,measure across underside of deck at inside of shell,for appx cut.I seem to recall MTD "18/48"& "18/54" decks back when 18HPs were the "big" tractors.Complete Spindle assys should be available,also the individual components(shafts,spacers,bearings,housings).Not hard /expensive to rebuild,but a hydraulic press greatly simplifies the job as these are"press fitted assemblies".NAPA,Car Quest or any reputable lawn and garden shop should be able to get these parts/assys for you as they are common.
