Certain tractors seem to dominant in certain areas, but it doesn"t seem as much as it was say 25 or 30 years ago. Dealerships have a lot to do with it. When I was a kid we had, Ford, John Deere, Massey, and International dealerships within 20 miles of where I farm now.I don"t remember seeing an AC or Oliver till I was in High school. Today the nearest dealership is about 40 miles and I"d need to travel almost 100 miles to find a CIH dealer.New Holland and John Deere rule the big tractor market and Kabota is in the mix for smaller tractors now.
