It is federal law that all states must allow trailer widths of 102" or 8'6". This only applys to interstates and a limited roads to and from your site to the interstate. 96" or 8' is allowed on all roads in the US. If you tell me what state you are talking about I can tell you what info I have for that state. My state rules are 96" or less on any road 97" to 102" on truck route roads only 103" to 144" requires a permit 145" to 192" requires a permit and a escort 193" and over requires a police escort
