Were you towing any loads, climbing hills, operating in hot weather or is the operator a little on the heavy side? After operating new equipment or as soon as purchasing used. The trans,engine & rear gets flushed and filled with Amsoil Synthetic. Synthetic won't cure existing problems/damage but it will keep parts from rubbing together and wearing in harsh conditions. The "Lawn Tractors" are a lightweight light duty machine that I will never purchase. A "Garden Tractor" is much beefier.
