Manifold nuts leaking coolant - any fixes ?

Two of the 7 studs on a little Continental flathead have the studs threaded into the engine water jackets. These two studs were removed when taking off the manifold because the nuts were frozen on the studs. After reassembling the engine and running it, those two studs are leaking coolant. Any fixes? I have talked to some who recommend Devcon, JB Weld, Locktite, High Temp Silicon, Permatex gasket stuff, and even plumbers pipe thread dope (containing lead). Which one of these should I use, or is there something better yet?
