Winter wheat starting to mature.

In spite of the weather the winter wheat started to turn colour this week and the heads are starting to droop.
Very little percipitation this year. The snow melt at the end of March, another snow melt the end of April and just 2-3/4 " of rain.
2-1/4" fell about 10 days ago when the wheat was filling out the heads.
