Ford only made one tractor (series) at a time, back then. During the war would have been the 9N (1941) and the 2N (1942-1945... now, for all the other 'N nuts' out there, I know that the 9's and 2's were made outside of that time frame, but this meets the WWII criteria :-)). Both tractors were 6V positive ground, from the factory (with the exception of some of the early 2Ns, which were magneto driven). All this being said... When I replaced my headlights (on my 1950 8N), I went to Tractor Supply and picked up a set of 12V bulbs, which were sitting on the shelf, right next to the 6V bulbs. Good luck... (P.S. try the 9N, 2n & 8N Board, you'll get more "specialized" help, for these tractors, there) Steve
