Hi Mike, Have you checked with Snap On? They usually can get you any darned tool you need. They are one heck of a transmission and very seldom fail, but one of their little bo-bos was that the big shaft you are talking about would take a bend and set up a vibration. However, if yours was running smooth, you should be okay. Do you have a local GM or Dodge dealer near you? They were all issued that socket in their tool kits and sometimes a guy can just "borrow" the tool. Hope you get 'er goin', Allan
