Each mfg has a website to research basic specs and pictures. John Deere is one of the best in that regard. They'll give you more information than most and a list price to boot. Their 5' rotary cutter (LX5) lists for $1277 and most if not all will discount and maybe take your old one in trade. I know your Mother probably feels she's getting old and shouldn't spend much on a mower but Im so old I don't buy green bananas anymore. Might not live to see them ripen, but I don't believe in skimping on quality. You have to identify that degree of quality.
