If the clamp type you refered to is like a 706 I used to own, it should be not that hard to move. I used to park it on a slight side hill, loosen the wheel clamp a bit then use a block and bottle jack under the axel and lift that wheel up a few inches. Lock up the other brake, start her up and put her in gear and roll the loose wheel and it goes clunk, clunk, clunk and walks itself slowly out (if on the downhill side). The hardest work was loosening the bolts and pumping the jack.
