I have tried car newet it is a spray gives vehicle new car smell but I have now used first a good smoke and cleaner that is used on glass doors of wood burning stoves works always first use this before washing with water water takes smell stains deeper then after using dry shampoo rug cleaner then light soap tide water dont soak let dry if you have water vacumm cleaner like rainbow vac next, then I spray with car renewal. gets rid of smell even after rainy days. also do the dash vents and pull defrost tubes loose clean out time has to be spent but well worth it plus gets rid of grit germs and somebody elses odor. Some may pick but oh well when you get in my corvette or elcamino, you will only smell me tuff some times I have to roll the windows down also.
