my jd 4240 was parked in a shed fot the winter i went to get her for the second week for first cut (first feilds are too small for the beast)the flap on the mufler sat open all winter (i forgot to flip it shut as it sticks open) i cranked it over it was cranking slow well sat all winter what would you expect it poped a few times and started then some thing flew out the muffler it was 2 bats the force from the exaust splaterd them to the roof of my shed it was cool and gross at the same time
