Greetings to all. I have a Cub Cadet 122 made by IH around 1964 or so. It has a Kohler 12HP engine on it. It wasn"t being used for about 4 or 5 years and then about 6 months ago or so I got it back out and got it running. It ran and mowed fine for a while. Now when I fire it up, it"ll run but it feels like it"s lacking power. When you engage the mower, it"ll be too weak to mow and the RPM"s go way down. Once you turn the mower off, the RPM"s go back up but after a few minutes the engine will come close to stalling or just stall. I have checked the fuel line, replaced the spark plug, ran it with 2-cycle oil, Marvel Mystery oil, cleaned the filter in the tank. No luck. Also, there seems to be an oil leak somewhere on top of the engine and it goes through oil really fast. Ideas / help would be appreciated. Thanks.
