if he's the one raking and baling then yes that sound fair. i do the same here. i have a local BTO windrow about 20-30 acres for me and then i bale myself and pay 25 him 25 cents a bale. i then supply the local fleet farm store and they pay me $2.00 a bale, then thay sell it for $4.00 a bale to the yuppies. the BTO doesn't care about the straw so it's extra money in his pocket, he doesn't want to waste his time baling anyways, i make a buck a bale as the middle man and the store is happy to have a supply to keep it's customers happy! the store usually buys an average of 1500 bales a year from me. casey
