THEY JUST WONT PART WITH IT !!!

I have been chasing down leads on old tractors for years. I get really frustrated when I track down that rare tractor tucked away somewhere and the owner just will not part with it. Usually "it was grandpa's tractor and we wouldn't have the heart to sell it". Or, my favorite is:"No,I'm going to get around to restoring it someday". Now you KNOW it's never going to happen and it will just rust away or be sold for scrap. Lately Ebay has been a problem. They saw a $1000 tractor go for $4000 and think that they are worth that much. Just wondering what you folks might think or have had these situations.
