tractor hauling question

I'm looking at purchasing a new flatbed trailer to tow behing a Chevy 1/2ton Z71 truck. The truck is equipped with aftermarket air springs and I'd prefer to stay with a bumper hitch. I generally haul a narrow front JD B or possibly an IH H tractor. Any advice on trailer to purchase? Is a standard car hauler with 3500lb axles heavy enough? Any comments on dovetail versus tilt bed? How about brand preferences for this?
