since i left the dairy farm in '98 i have always missed having a skid loader around. my wife (girlfriend at the time) always loved coming out to the farm and being put to work in one. she's talked about it plenty since about wanting one again but when i would show her prices she would shut up pretty fast ! we were at the local dealer the other day shootin the breeze with my salesman and she spyed a nice little L454 new holland. she asked how much and we were both blown away ! we could actually afford it! we were able to take it home for a few nights and check it out. really nice machine. i can't believe how well taken care of it was. there's not a scratch, dent or scuff on the darn thing. it purrs like a cat and works like an ox. i've driven alot of different skid loaders over the years and am kinda partial to the new hollands so all is good. anybody else have a L454? can you tell me anything about it? casey
