please help me - ford 3610

i recently bought a ford 3610. and after closer inspection i realise its had something wrong with it in the past, given away by the new lift arms on the back end. i need some help with the pto as after replacing a bent selector and fork i cant get the thing into gear when there is anything attached to it. its fine running on its own but when i try and start the mower it just grates horribly and i darent pull it any harder. regards Matt Sisson
