It's not just the farmers that are suffering, these outlandish fuel prices are taking all of the profit and then some out of trucking also. I don't know what the answer is, but becoming an auctioneer probably won't help because no one will be able to afford the fuel to drive to the auction, and even if they did buy something, they wouldn't be able to afford the bill for hauling it home.
