I had a guy come in back in the late 70's driving a Monte Carlo. It was burning oil, and he ask about an overhaul, and how much it would cost, and how long he would be without a car. I told him that I had a 305 Chevy engine ready, and he could have his car the next day. He told me that he didn't like Chevrolets, and no way in hill would he drive a Monte Carlo with a Chevy engine. And that he couldn't believe I would even try to rip him off like that.
