I'm not a dove hunter, and probably wouldn't hunt 'em if they were legal to hunt. After MANY years of prohibitions, Michigan finally passed a law allowing a "limited, experimental hunt" in a few selected counties to evaluate the results of hunting on the population. Darned if the ANTIS didn't find a way around it by putting the law up to referendum. Effectively cancelling further seasons, and putting a game management question up to the people. (And we have a law on the books that requires game decisions to be made by the DNR!) Hang on to your privileges boys, they're under attack, and you could loose your huntin'. Then what could you do with the kids & grandkids?
