If the manual says it's OK, then it probably won't hurt anything. Only concern I would have is the seals. I don't know how they would respond to the change. Somehow, I doubt that it will bring the temp down though. I know that my 13 runs in about the 180-200 range most of the time. Don't know what the old 15 ran. Sender was inop, and not too important. Time to flip a coin I guess....... Rod
