Allan, I have had 5 Navistar powered Fords and they have all been good trucks. I farm with a fleet of Ford tractors and have 2 Ford Mustangs. The Ford truck is the best on the road but the Dodge/Cummins is by far the best motor. Most of the early bugs have been worked out of the 6.0L Fords but I am still hanging on to my 2000 7.3. I think Ford will be changing engine suppliers in the not too distant future. The Ford- Navistar relationship is pretty strained after the cancellation of the V6 program and a less than successful launch of the 6L.All this being said I have been pretty impressed with the few I have driven. I tell my Mopar buddy all the time I would own a Cummins if Dodge would just wrap something decent around it. Sorry to offend any non-Ford owners out there. Roy
