Bob, Yes things like this used to happen, but not as often as they occur today. Today there are more marriages that end in divorce than those that stay together. I think the latest percentage I heard was about 52% end in divorce. One of the main culprits of extra-marital affairs, and so on.., is the fact that so much more of it is put on television for the public to witness. People see it more, they are less likely to be shocked by it, and they get used to it. For example: Last Super Bowl - Janet Jackson's "accidental exposure" occured, at one of the music awards girls half clothed were kissing on stage, and this is what people let their kids watch. WHY??? I really am sorry for the serious situation you are having to face. It should never happen, but unfortunately it does. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
