Hi Tyler, First, I'll tell you that I was a service mangager at a Ford dealership in 1999. They may charge you that $100 to run it in the door, but you have to understand that they have the equipment to "snapshot" that truck as the problem actually occurs and see what is really going on. You will easily throw that same $100 at the truck just "guessing" at what is wrong. It sounds like a crank sensor, it sounds like a cam sensor, it sounds like a loose connector pin, but it also sounds like a defective PCM. An intermittent like that could be one of a 100 different things; might even be a fuel delivery issue. For my money, I'd find a dealer that I could trust and take it in to the pros. They work on these things every day, day in and day out and they have seen every problem there is with these trucks. Downside is that you might have to leave the truck with 'em for a few days until they can get it to act up. Just my opinion, Allan
