Rest of the story------- truck

Ok, The trouble is that I work out of the pickup. Home repair and whatever the public asks for. My truck now is a 1988 chevy 3500 with the 454-4speed. 7---9 MPG!!! 183.000 miles Somthing has to change. I do carry weight now and then, those retaining wall block do add up. A toyota does not seem much better than the dodge with the hemi. Wanting at least a 3/4 ton but the gas prices are killing me.
