Thanks for the tips. Early on in this saga I tried shorting the coil high tension wire to the cylinder head while cranking and got no spark. But that was before I replaced all wiring which was in terrible condition, loose taped splices everywhere, cracked brittle falling off insulation. Amazing it ever ran like that. Now as I mentioned I need to charge the battery. And to do that I need to get a 6 volt charger first. Let you know once that is accomplished.
