I'm driving a 94 F-150 with a 302 and the E40D. It was pampered for the first 39000 miles, then I bought it in 1998. I've ran the you know what out of it. Abused it. Over-loaded it. Pulled trailers that were way to heavy often. It started acting funny at somewhere close to 100,000 miles. I changed the fluid and filter and it worked like a new one til about 175,000 miles. Same thing happened - so I changed the fluid and filter again. Now, at 210,000 miles, it's starting to act funny. I'm gonna change her again and see how many miles I can squeeze out of it. Like I said, I've worked this one HARD and I can't complain with it's performance. For what it's done and been through, if it quit tomorrow - I'd have to say it's been a good one! Mitch
