Expensive Tractor Restorations!

I have a '54 SC and a '53 DC CASE. When I bought them I planned on simply cleaning them up and repainting them. Well, one idea led to another and now, years later I have two tractors quite different than the ones I dragged home. This is especially true of the DC. I have added an AWF, converted to foot clutch, added a dual spool hydraulic pump, overhauled the engine, mounted new 14x38" rear rims, 4 new tires, etc. etc. I love the tractor but WOW has it gotten expensive! If I had known, I should have searched and found one set up like mine is now to begin with. I bet I would have half the $ into it. Anyone have similar experiences...? I had planned on finding/restoring a VAC but that will have to wait. There are new carpets and appliances to buy...! Glenn F.
