Since Katrina, our inventories have remained about steady. That's a huge bonus considering there is so much supply offline right now. Demand is off considerably. Should me prices are coming down. Back up a sec - 2 days ago, the IEA raised their demand estimate for 2006. Also Accuweather has forecasted a colder than normal winter for the East coast. Price should be going up. Wait a minute. High prices are slowing the economy. Etc etc etc. Demand will be off - I've been seeing a lot of talk of people putting in wood stoves, corn stoves, etc. If 1 in 100 do it, that's 1%. Huge. SUVs aren't selling well. etc. Today at 9:30 the API and DOE release the past weeks inventory levels. That should set the market for the coming week. I'll let you know when they come out what they are. However, don't let any facts confuse you in a rumor driven speculator market. It can go either way. Jay
