I think the thing that impresses me the most is a guy with manners - holds the door open for me and is nice. If you can get it done, iron the jeans - Wranglers are the ones of choice - (Wrangler butts, etc.) and a nice shirt. If you are taking her to a dance or something along those lines, starch the jeans - until the stand up by themselves, if not, just a nice iron job will do. Save the flowers for date #2. As for the starch - Wal-Mart has a liquid starch that is blue - you can put that in the washing machine with your jeans and then let them drip dry or you can get the spray can starch that you spray while ironing - don't spray too much or it will make flakes on your jeans. The liquid stuff works better for the really heavy starching - or take them to the cleaners......
