Some times you have to play the insurance game right. My son, 20, bought a 1999 F250 Superduty diesel this last spring. Insrance agent quoted $2250 every six months. Bull s#$* says I! We got him an old '87 pickup that runs and insured that as the primary vehicle and the Ford as a secondary. He pays $1075 every six months for both!! And only has a $100 deductable on the new one! Now figure that out! Now that is at out states minimum requirements for insurance. They still are making a killing where as he has a good driving record, but a savings is all we were after. Another tip for everyone is try opening a new policy in your wifes name and listing her as the primary driver on the new cars. Bet you may see a difference in the premium.
