Yes, but this engine should last 50,000 or 100,000 miles longer than a gas engine, meaning I will get more service out of this engine, not having to spend the extra money to replace it sooner, saving me money. Plus with the diesel option I gain higher trailering specs. from 10,300 gasoline to 15,500 diesel. Plus I get an extra 2 yrs./ 64,000 miles engine warranty
