There are none of the recalled Firestones back on the road from the dealers around here. All the tires I saw removed had a chunk cut out of the sidewall. Was told that was how they got reimbursed for the new tires was they had to have the tire brand to show for reimbursment. So unless the dealer wanted to pay the cost of the new tires, the old ones were destroyed.
