On dad's farm, he has a 1951 8N Ford. Grampa bought in in 53 I think, dad was born in 52. It was one of the first tractors dad drove, and was the first I drove. We have the original owners manual, and the bill of sale when grampa bought it. priceless...

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
