US Navy 1986 thru 1992. Served two years on the William V Pratt (DDG44) out of Charleston, two years onboard the USS America (CV66) out of Norfolk on which I got to ride out the Gulf War. The rest of my time got spread between school in Great Lakes, Norfolk, and shore duty in Ingleside, TX. There were alot of good times as well as bad times...still the good times and good buddies are alot more memorable than any of the bad ones. To those of you that actually served your time and lost many of your good buddies in the "real wars" I say THANK YOU.
