Dennis: Dave is correct, don't give the original manual much attention when it comes to hydraulic and motor oils. Hy-tran had not yet been developed when your Super C was built. There has also been much improvment in motor oils as well.

About the only liquid that still hangs ture for your Super C is the gear oil in transmission and steering box. It will run on unleaded gas very successfully for years on end, and will take all modern anti-freezes.
