why not just fix the gasser it would be a whole bunch cheeper then mickymousen a diesel into it . if ya want a diesel tractor buy a diesel tractor. It would be less money in the long run. I had them same thoughts awhile back till i put a pensiel to it . was going to put a 5.9 cummins in a 706 gasser but found out real quick that i could by a bigger tractor with a good engine and not have to make parts if something went bad for a bunch less .
