buy mine from local eye dr. always used glass until last time. they were heavy. gal was trying to talk me into plastic and i told her that i welded all the time. glass was the only thing that would hold up. she told me that they had a new type plastic that was guaranteed to work. went with them and have not regretted it. bought titanium frames that flex. ran about $400 all together. been three years and have got a new prescription to fill and will use same frames again.
