One option would be to either put an adapter on the shaft you have to take it from 1000 to 540, or put a 1000 yoke end on the shaft you have and only run the tractor at about 1/2 PTO speed. I'd think you'd burn alot of fuel with that large of a tractor on that size of cutter at full RPM
