I don't know if what you are asking is the following or not. My brand new Dodge Ram 2500 has the transfer case shifter right there on the hump. I didn't want the $500.00 option of the electric push button. Remember, when you are buying a car, truck, tv or whatever, you are the boss and should get what you want. If they need to change it, you should be getting the benefit. My paint job was a $300 option but they sucked it up because they couldn't deliver a pickup without that feature and it was something I didn't order. Consider buying a vehicle as a sporting competition where you have as much chance of winning as the dealership.
