Yes, there was a company that made only high crop tractors. Larson out of Tulia, Texas. I bought one to use for experimental work at CSU in Fort Collins. It originally had a VW 1600 bug engine but the engine was missing. I put a 2000 cc transporter engine in it plus a cab from a Gleaner E combine and about $8000 worth of Raven spray equipment. It was a tall one. I am over six feet and I could walk upright anywhere under it. Originally it was equipped to detassle corn for the seed corn business, but all that equipment was taken off. The USDA in Fort Collins also has one with a 2300 cc Ford water cooled engine. Ed
