Being still young yet, I looked into a Harvest run for 2006. Asked on some message boards just like you. I was told first and foremost, ask around to see what the best crews are to work for. Some were not bragged up by any means by a few guys. I was also told that you should be doing it for the experience not a huge paycheck, because it doesn't exsist, the huge paycheck that is. Anyways, I don't think I ever heard anyone that said they wished they hadn't have went on a run that did. Even though I won't be doing it as it looks now, some decent full time work is available in town at the moment and I am trying to get my foot in the door at one of those places. I also didn't like it that most crews require you to have a CDL.........I don't have one and have no urge to get one. Hate being out on the road at all anymore, even in a car these days, people drive nuts.
