I priced a new Onan 20 horse short block for my Lincoln 225 portable welder from Cummins,$2,100 plus shipping. I could get a new complete Kohler magnum 20 horse from Northern hydraulics for $1,400. So I'm parting out the Lincoln and bought a decent used Lincoln engine drive welder with a Continental engine for a grand. The Onan engines IMHO are not worth screwing with.
