OT truck tires

Going to replace the tires on my Dakota, they are size P265/70R16. Not worn out but want a better bite for my primary vehicle. My old snow truck current has standard GM wheels with LT245/75R16 tires on it. Are these sizes too far apart to mount the old 265s on the snow truck?
