I have never had an engine problem with my 7050 or 7060, but I have always changed the antifreeze every two years which the dealer says will save these engines from electrolisis. That's what kills them. As far as the cabs go these were the quietest in the industry back in their day so I don't believe anyone who says they are noisy unless a cab mount was grounded and needed replacing. My 7060 has over 7800 hrs on it and absolutly never had the power shift touched. The 7050 has the power director which is indestuctable but limited. I had the hydraulic pump shell out once on the 7050 though.
