Legal hassles probable- Madison, Wi area scrap yard that I used to get steel pieces for welding repairs, trailer making had to stop sales couple years back after state said they might be taken to court for damages if accident happened. They were called into court on a couple cases for auto parts salvaged instead of scrapped so no sales for that either anymore, no license for retail sales/parts salvage. Check if state laws on licensing for retail sales apply to yard- not worth the risk to make unlawful sale. RN.
