Try the Crawler board here, there are a few "old machinery" fans on it that might be able to help you. I knew Thew (Lorain) Shovel made cranes and cable shovels but did not know they made loaders. Unless it is a modern one as at work we have a Lorain rubber-tired hydraulic crane but this is abut 10 years old give or take. If that is the case, you might get some help from the Terex company, do a search for them on the web.
