I bought a IH 240 utility off ebay about a month ago and love it so far. From everything I have read on the website concerning the IH0-240 utility I get the impression that its a great little tractor for general purposes. The only negative I can say for mine is the 3-point hitch. It is a quick-type which is ok, but the lower arms are in a fixed triangle setup, in other words they will not move sideways which makes hooking up to implements a little more tedious. These tractors were only made for 3 or 4 years 1958 to around 62 I believe, so they are a bit rare. I have not been disappointed in my purchase at all. Hope this helps.
