Trailer Brakes

In theory, due to the way the springs are hung on a tandem axle, brakes on the front axle will tend to lift the wheels on the back axle off the ground. This is worse on an empty or lightly loaded trailer. That's in theory. Personally I refuse to have a trailer that doesn't have brakes on all wheels.
